SIALKOT - Indian Border Security Force (BSF) resorted to unprovoked firing on Sialkot border villages in Chaprar Sector along the Working Boundary on Sunday evening. According to senior officials of the Punjab Rangers, the Indian BSF started shelling Sialkot border villages Nandpur, Rangpur Jattan, Salehpur, Malaaney, Thathi, Jhumiyaan and some other areas in Chaprar Sector at 06:00 pm. The Indian firing was continuing till filing of this report.

Senior Punjab Rangers officials added that the Indian BSF were targeting the civilian population of these Sialkot border villages with automatic weapons and light machine guns, due to which several houses were partially damaged. The Punjab Rangers were retaliating in befitting manner, said the senior Punjab Rangers officials. They confirmed that there was no loss of any life. No injury was reported as well.
