President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday said Pakistan has rendered massive sacrifices for the cause of world peace and the international community acknowledges the countrys key contribution to UN peacekeeping missions. We are a responsible nation, we have suffered huge losses, we sacrificed our good in this cause, he told newsmen upon conclusion of a UN Peacekeeping meetings. He said todays session is a recognition of Pakistans peacekeeping efforts. President Zardari also appreciated President Barack Obamas address to the UN General Assembly Wednesday. We have gathered here to acknowledge the fact that we are the largest contributors to the UN peacekeeping missions. We lost our lives, we lost our good men for the cause. Pakistan, he said, will continue peacekeeping effort under the United Nations missions.
