Cambridge surprise Nasra School

KARACHI Cambridge School surprised Nasra Public School by 36 runs in the HBL-KCCA Inter-school Cricket here the other day at Pak Star ground. Batting first, Cambridge School mustered 110 runs in their innings. M Ali scored 41 runs with the help of four boundaries. Jauhar Saeed grabbed four wickets for 10, Faizan Afzal three for two and Ubaidur Rehman two for twenty. In reply, Nasra Public School were all out for 74. Sharjeel clinched four wickets for 18, M Ali three for 18 and Rafay Zakir one for eight. In another match, GBSS Zahoor defeated Qadri Model School by seven wickets at KCCA Stadium. Qadri Model School, batting first, posted 150 runs in 40 overs. Khurram Shehzad was 81 not out. Ahsan Ali took three wickets for 22 runs while Bilal Manzoor two for eight. In reply, GBSS Zahoor achieved the target for the loss of three wickets in 30.3 overs. Jahid Ali was unbeaten on 55, Ali made 44 and Shiraz Ali 25 runs. Afnan Ahmed took one wicket for 21 runs.
