LAHORE - Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) handed over 1200 bags of flour and other eatables to Pakistan Army here on Thursday. It was the 6th consignment as the PIAF had already dispatched five consignments including flour, ghee, sugar, rice, dry milk, pickle, dates, biscuits, tea, roasted grams, dal channa, salt, red chilli, candles, match boxes, water bottle and a tent, for the flood affectees. Chairman PIAF Irfan Qaiser Sheikh, Advisor to Governor Gilgit-Baltistan on Investment Mian Shafqat Ali, Mudassar Masood Chaudhry, Sheikh Muhammad Irfan and Anwaar A. Sheikh were present on the occasion. The Chairman PIAF Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that all segments of society would have to join hands for the early rehabilitation of flood affectees as the devastation scale is beyond estimations and the government alone cannot cope with it. He said that more relief goods would be dispatched to five other destinations in coming days.
