LAHORE (PR) - National NGO Safe Winds has signed an agreement with a Japanese NGO, Nippon International Cooperation for Community Development (NICCO) on Thursday in a ceremony held in support of flood affected people in district Muzaffargarh. Under the agreement tents, kitchen utensils, hygienic kit, blankets will be provided to the flood affected people of Muzaffargarh and in next phase there is a planning to provide medical facilities along with safe and clean drinking water. Seeds, fertilizers and pesticides will also be provided to assist the process of economic rehabilitation of local inhabitants victimized by flood. Speaking on the occasion Secretary General of NICCO said that along with the Japan platform we are committed to assist rehabilitation process of the people economically and we will use all of our resources to make peoples lives better than before. A message from Japanese Ambassador was also read in which the Ambassador of Japan expressed his sympathies on behalf of Govt and people of Japan and promised to provide every support to flood affected people.
