LAHORE - The final round ceremony for the successful students short-listed for the 'PFL Scholarship Programme Pakistan-2010 is being held on Saturday at a local hotel. The Provincial Minister for Higher Education for Khyber Pukhtunkhawa Qazi Asad will be the chief guest. The PFL has said that it has processed the admission of students for its panel universities of UK for September- 2010 session. It has developed a fund for over Rs4.2 million for this scholarship first time in the history of Pakistan to support students who wish to study abroad. The PFL Education, being the only British company owned by the British management, receives thousands of students application every year and manage their admissions at universities like Manchester, Cardiff, Sheffield , Durham, Bristol etc. The PFL in this regard has already held a competition among thousands of registered applicants for finding best students for the PFL Scholarship. First level screening was done by the PFL Karachi, Lahore, lslamabad, Faisalabad and Peshawar offices while second level was conducted in Lahore through the panel of experts. In final round ceremony the scholarships will be awarded to 11 students through balloting.
