LAHORE Usmania FC outkicked Young Shooters 4-2 and Universal Baba Cargo beat Gulshan Ravi 2-1 to join Model Town FC and Raiders FC in the semi-finals of the Fair play Flood Relief Football Cup at Model Town Football Academy (MTFA) Ground. The third quarter-final between Usmania and Universal failed to produce any goal and Referee Naseem Uddin asked both the team to try luck during penalty shoot out. Usmania penalty-takers showed coolness and struck through Hafiz Asif, Raees, Amjad Hussain and Muhammad Naseem while losers replied through Kamran Khan and Mujahid Shah. Later on, Universal Baba Cargo dominated the 4th quarter-final and edged out Gulshan Ravi 2-1. It was comeback win as Ravi opened the scoring through defender Nasir in the 20th minute. But six minutes later, Baba drew level through striker Ali and it was left to Mehmood to hit 37th minute winner. Friday (24 Sep) Fixture : Usmania FC v Universal Baba Cargo ( Semi-final 8 PM).
