LAHORE – PML-N Senator Pervez Rashid has said that some politicians collect funds from people, construct hospitals, and later on create their parties and demand vote for them but Kashmala has promised that after construction of Lahore cantonment General hospital neither she will establish political party nor demand for vote.
According to a press release issued on Sunday, the PML-N Senator stated this while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Lahore cantonment General hospital constructed by PML-Likeminded Secretary Information Kashmala Tariq for the poor and needy people.
Kashmala Tariq, MNA Pervez Malik MNA Saad Rafique, Senator Tariq Azeem, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Mian Asif and other also spoke on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Senator Pervez Rashid said last year there was no place for dengue victims in hospitals, but this year the dengue victims had decreased manifold due to efforts of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Kashmala Tariq while addressing said this was first collective function of PML-N and PML-Likeminded, we would fight elections under single platform. She said this hospital was founded in 2005, which was a dream of my grandmother to have a hospital for the poor people.
She said only one letter was not enough to protest with the US on blasphemous movie. She said we would protest till America withdrew all Blasphemous materials from YouTube and other websites.
Khawaja Saad Rafique said construction of the hospital was a sole effort of Kashmala which was a remarkable job. He said corrupt government had thrown country into the quagmire and President Zardari had harmed lovers of democracy.
He said if Zardari practiced Charter of Democracy, the country would be on the path of development, but Zardari considered politics as game of Chess. He stressed that the change should be brought out through vote and without democracy no one could think of development.
