KHAIRPUR - Former President of Pakistan and All Pakistan Muslim League Chief  General retired Pervez Musharraf has urged that an impartial caretaker government should be formed at the earliest to hold election.

“The caretaker set-up should not be included thieves and plunderers,” he said addressing big gathering of party convention at Phool Bagh here on Sunday evening by telephone from Dubai. Musharraf condemned the profane movie and demanded to close all circuits in country in this regard.

“Protests were held all over world but we must avoid causing damage to our own state.” He said that people of the country including Sindh are suffering from hike in prices, youth are wandering without jobs, factories are being closed which is matter of big concern. He said Sindh is also suffering rain and flood devastation.

He said this time nobody is helping Sindh. He recalled that when earthquake jolted country, the government called conference of 76 countries but only 6 Arab countries’ relief reached which is a question mark. Pakistan lost its respect and now no anybody wants to help Pakistan. Musharraf said that he would come back to the country very soon.

On the occasion central general sectary barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, Chaudhry Ashraf, Muslim Bhutto, Ghulam Mustafa Khaskheli, Saham Ali and others addressed and highlighted the pubic issues. Meanwhile, acting Commissioner Muhammad Abbas Baloch said that dewatering pumps have been installed and relief items distributed among the victim families in rain-hit areas of the division.

The commissioner said this while visiting different areas of Ghotki, Sukkur and Khairpur districts.

He said that dewatering process of various schools have been completed in Khairpur. He said that in Khairpur district only 20 schools were inundated during the recent spell of heavy rains but now the condition of all such affected schools is satisfactory. He further said that dewatering pumping machines are being installed in rain affected areas of Ubaaro, Daharki of Ghotki.
