ISLAMABAD - KRL football team has reached Dushanbe on Sunday to participate in the main round of AFC Cup along with Al Amma’ri Youth Club (Palestine and Taiwan Power Company (China) in Pool B, said Ali Zaidi on Sunday. Talking to this scribe, Ali Zaidi said: “Our team will start practicing in the evening and will also hold practice session under the watchful eyes of head coach Tariq Lutfi. When our team arrived at the airport, we were accorded a warm welcome by the AFC officials who were present at the airport.” Expressing his view, team coach Tariq Lutfi said: “We are very confident as far as the fitness of our players is concerned. The players are in good nick and will perform according to their abilities in the matches to come. I and the team management have requested the millions of Pakistani people to pray for our success in the championship.”
