PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Finance, Engr Muhammad Humayun Khan has deplored the destruction of properties worth Rs 84 billion on the occasion of “Youm-e-Ishq-e-Rasool (PBUH)” and termed it a national tragedy.
He said that PPP has always worked for supremacy of Islam and democracy and history of the country was testimony of it.
He was addressing a joining function at Dheri Jolagram District Malakand on Sunday. On this occasion Ali Gul, Said Rihman, Semin Khan, Imran, Fazal Rahim, Amir Muhammad, Fayyaz, Adnan, and Azam khan along with their families joined PPP. They also reposed full confidence in the leadership of Humayun Khan.
The function beside provincial minister was also addressed by Haji Qasim Qasaab, Ibrahim Ustad , hajji Nawshirwan , and said Rahman. They highlighted in detail the struggle of ppp particularly late Mohammad Hanif Khan, against feudalism in district Malakand and sheering out the poor people from the clutches of feudals. They called upon they workers to convey the message of party to every nook and corner and inform the younger generation of the atrocities of feudal class.
The speakers expressed anguish over the way of agitation by some vested interest against the anti Islam Film which defamed us as a nation the world over .
Referring to the demands, the provincial finance minister assured that all their genuine problems including potable water, electricity, pavement of streets and replacement of out dated PVC lines, would be redressed on priority basis.
