Federal Information & Broadcasting Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira Monday stated that government’s stance has not been changed over writing to the Swiss authorities.

Talking to media in the Parliament, he said that Law Minister Farooq H. Naek would present draft of the letter on Tuesday in the Supreme Court regarding reopening Swiss cases against the President.

He said that government would respect the viewpoint of the court if it would order any changes to be made in the draft of the letter.

Kaira denounced the statement of Railway Minister Ghulam Ahmad Bilour against makers of ‘anti-Islam film’ and said the government has no link with that statement.

He said that government had given options to the Supreme Court during tenure of former prime minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani.

Kaira said that the letter, which will be written to Swiss authorities, would mark the return of letter that was written to the Swiss authorities by former Attorney General Malik Qayyum.
