ISLAMABAD - Syed Nofil Kaleem Imam lost the Asian Junior U-14 Tennis Championship final against local boy Robel in three hard fought sets played Dhaka, Bangladesh. Coach Kamran Khalil told this scribe on Sunday adding that Nofil played exceptionally well in the final as the first set was a see saw battle between the two talented players. Both the players held on to their respective serves in the first set and the set was decided into tie break where Robel won the set 7-6 (7-5). In the second set, Nofil brushed aside Robel in 25 minutes without conceding a single game in the second set winning it 6-0. Nofil lost the final and decisive set 7-5 thus losing the final 7-6, 0-6 and 7-5. Nofil played exceptionally well in his first ever international singles final and he is still in learning process. He would soon start to win not only big matches but also the tournaments, said Kamran.
