KARACHI – Police on Sunday raided a house in Qaidabad area and recovered an abducted trader from kidnapers. Police officials said the raid was conducted on a tip-off in Quaidabad area, where an exchange of fire between police and kidnappers killed two alleged abductors. A policeman, namely Muhammad Hussain, was also wounded in the shootout.Later, police also recovered Muhammad Khan, a trader taken captive from Sohrab Goth on September 17. Identification of the kidnappers could not be ascertained. The officials said they were trying to apprehend more accomplices of the culprits.Meanwhile, a man was gunned down on MT Khan Road within the remit of Jackson Police Station.Police officials said that Gul Marjan, a resident of Gidar Colony, was on his way to his home when two armed men riding a motorbike came close to him and opened fire on him. Resultantly, he sustained multiple bullets and died on the spot. Police shifted the body to Civil Hospital Karachi.Police suspected the motive behind the killing was personal enmity.
