Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs Ch Muhammad Barjees Tahir expressed grief and sorrow over the brutal twin suicide blasts in Peshawar church and expressed his solidarity with the mourning Christian community and bereaved families.  He said that such cruel acts of terrorism reflected the brutality and inhuman mindset of the terrorists.”Terrorists have no religion and targeting innocent people is against the teachings of Islam and all religions” he said.

Talking to newsmen here, he said that that the Prime Minister’s announcement of new schemes for youth would bring economic stability and development in the country. He said that announcement of a loan facility on low mark-up rate for the youth to starting their businesses would put the country on the path to development. He said that facilitating the youth with micro and macro finance schemes for the continuation of their education and skilled training would bring prosperity.

The minister said that country is passing through multiple economic challenges. Replying to a question regarding transparency on laptop schemes, he said that merit would be ensured while distributing the laptop among the students.

To another question, he said that the PML-N government was focusing on remote and far-flung areas so that the youth of less developed areas could avail better opportunities.
