Dominating GCU VC feels proud


LAHORE - Commenting on securing 10 positions in the intermediate examination, Government College University Vice Chancellor Dr Khaleequr Rahman has said 2013 has emerged to be a triumphant year for university.
 “The alumni and teachers have proved their excellence in academics, research and co-curricular activities at all levels. GCU orators won 175 oratory awards, our 24 faculty members received Research Productivity Awards from Ministry of Science and Technology, we declared best university of Punjab by HEC, our student Rafi Ullah Kakhar won Rhodes scholarship and there are hundreds of other achievements of our students that bring glory to their alma mater” Prof Rahman said.
He attributed the tremendous achievement of the GCU students to their hard work and talent through which they had managed to uphold the GCU’s tradition of excellence. He also said that GCU had not increased its fee during the two years to avoid any financial burden on its students.
