ATTOCK - District Police Officer (DPO) Attock, Israr Ahmad Abbasi, has said that all-out efforts are being made to arrest criminals and its ample proof is that 53 proclaimed offenders and 158 court offenders have been arrested during a short period.

He said this while addressing a press conference here at his office on Monday. He said that seven alleged kidnappers have also been arrested while those kidnapped have been recovered safe and sound for which the police officers and subordinate staff will be rewarded. He said that four alleged kidnappers who are still at large will be arrested soon.

Meanwhile in a special meeting with Christian community, the DPO assured that all steps would be taken to ensure minorities’ security.

Meanwhile a protest rally was taken out by the Christian community of Attock to condemn Peshawar blasts.

The rally was led by Paster Peter Javed Johnson, Saleem Masih and others.

The participants of the rally shouted slogans against the terrorists involved in this inhumane attack and demanded the arrest of those culprits. They said that Christian community played an important role in the making and development of Pakistan and those who wanted to create differences will never succeed in their nefarious designs.
