ISLAMABAD - KRL stunned Dordoi of Kyrgyzstan 1-0 in the inaugural match of the AFC President's Cup here on Monday. Striker Kaleem Ullah scored the only and decisive goal in the 76th minute. The match remained goalless in the first half as both the teams failed to score. KRL missed two bright chances in the first half and also one in the second. Goalkeeper Saqib was the hero for KRL as he saved at least three golden chances. Talking to The Nation, head coach Tariq Lutfi said: “Win against Dordoi was his dream which came true. It was all done due to fighting spirit, full energy and dedication of the players and last but not least it was a miracle which became possible with the help of God.” KRL FC will play its second match against Al Qudas of Palestine on September 27 at the same venue. –Staff Reporter
