LOS ANGELS: Christopher Nolan needed just 15 minutes to persuade film bosses to let him direct Batman Begins, it has emerged. The filmmaker’s pitch for the 2005 movie was so perfect that Warner were immediately convinced that he was the man for the coveted job, and quickly gave the superhero reboot the green light. Warner Bros’ president of production Greg Silverman said: “The pitch that Chris had was so... it was quick. It was 10 or 15m. But it was so holistic, and it really was Batman Begins.” Ex-studio president Jeff Robinov explained that Christopher had a very clear vision for the film about the caped crusader.–BF
