Peshawar incident aimed to sabotage peace talks: Fazl

QUETTA - JUI-F chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has termed the twin suicide attacks on a church in Peshawar as a conspiracy to sabotage peace talks with Taliban. Talking to media at Quetta Airport on Monday, Maulana said that the Peshawar church attack is a big tragedy and an attempt to destroy Pakistan’s image internationally. He said the attack occurred at a time when Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was to present Pakistan’s stance on drone attacks in the United Nations. The JUI-F chief said the Peshawar attack has lost the PM’s viewpoint weight over the issue he was going to highlight in the United Nations.
