Assistant Commissioner Dr Attaul Haq said the TMA chalked out a short-term plan for the development and beautification of the city.  While talking to the media here, he said that sanitary condition of the city would be improved and longstanding sewerage plan would launched with the assistance of the Punjab government. He said that the new lines were being laid in different localities of the city.
He said that the TMA approved the renovation of Mamoon Park while Ladies Park would be established for the recreation of females and children. Similarly, jogging track for players would be constructed in the Municipal Stadium, he added.
The AC urged citizens to come up with proposals for the uplift of city, saying that useful proposals would be included in TMA short-term plan.
