On the directions of DPO Sohail Habib Tajak, construction work has been started to establish a Police Welfare Plaza on Kutchery Road where 30 shops will be constructed in two phases.  DSP Rao Zahoor Rabbani disclosed here the other day.  Talking to newsmen, he informed that in the phase first four big shops and one hall would be constructed with financial support of the Police Welfare Fund and where branches of four local banks would be opened in these shops.

He said that in second phase, 25 shops would be constructed. Replying to a question, he said that rented income of all shops would be deposited in the Police Welfare Fund and would be utilised for the welfare of the Police Department employees.

Condoled: BNAP Chairman Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi visited the residence of PML-F Vice President Ali Durrani to condolence over the death of his elder sister Mrs Abida Durrani.

He paid rich tributes to the services of late Mrs Abida Durrani which she had rendered for the restoration of Bahawalpur province movement and offered fateha for the departed soul.
