ATTOCK- Two head constables, who were terminated and then booked on the charge of corruption by Pindigheb police, were presented before the judicial magistrate but the magistrate refused to remand them in the police custody. The judicial magistrate turned down the request for remanding Faheem and Shahid Bahadur as the contents of were based on assumptions.

As per the order of the magistrate the contents of the FIR do not show that any kind of complaint has been received on behalf of the public at large regarding such disturbance. The order further says that the vehicle which was not checked by these police officials has also not been mentioned in the FIR.

Moreover no report is available on record which shows that any kind of vehicle loaded with cattle passed through the police picket remained unchecked by the accused cops. Police authorities terminated HC Faheem on mere presumptions which are beyond comprehension, a relative of HC Faheem said.

He said that without any solid proof s of corruption and without holding inquiry, their termination is against the principles of justice.
