Six arrested in separate raids

KAMALIA- The city police arrested six persons in raids conducted in different areas here the other day.
According to police, four gamblers were arrested from a public park in Zeeshan Colony. The police, on a tip-off, rushed to Happy Land Park and arrested four gamblers. The police also recovered Rs3,110 from their possession and registered a case against them. On the other hand, the police arrested one person named Mubashir from Kamalia vegetable market. The police also recovered 1,065g of hashish from his possession and registered a case against him.
BANK MANAGER HELD: Meanwhile, a National Bank branch manager was arrested for not arranging proper security on the bank premises. According to police, a police contingent paid a surprise visit to the bank branch located at Nawaz Chowk and after inspecting the bank premises, the police found security guard absent and CCTV cameras non-functional.
At which the police arrested bank manager Bashir Ahmed on charges of not arranging proper security and registered a case against him.
