Shehbaz welcomes parliamentary commission on 'electoral rigging'

The Opposition Leader and the President of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the formation of the parliamentary commission on the electoral rigging.

While addressing in the National Assembly on Monday the opposition leader said all the opposition parties welcome the parliamentary committee on rigging as we all have the severe reservation in this regard.

Shehbaz said there is no second opinion in the fact that PTI's government was not established through genuine public vote but rigging.

The former chief minister Punjab said PML-N gave the biggest financial package for the agriculture sector, while present government has burdened the common people with extra taxes. "We did not hope that Finance Minister Asad Umar will bring such an anti-people budget", he added.

The government should take back the hike in the gas prices as the people have rejected the move.

Criticizing the appointment of Zulfi Bukhari a close aide of Prime Minister Imran Khan as  Adviser to PM for Overseas Pakistanis, Shehbaz said today, "we see imported advisors and close friends of few on the important positions of the government".

"CPEC is the project of Pakistan and this house and Pakistani nation will never compromise on this project" he asserted.

The opposition leader said that the previous government made powerplants catering 5,000MW energy under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.

The harbingers of 'change' have totally disappointed the nation and they tried to fool masses with their fake austerity claims.
