In the last ten months of the last ten years, Iran sold 28 billion dollars worth of oil despite the US sanctions. If the two countries agree on these important issues, the ongoing war in Ukraine may intensify and the world economy and there may be additional threats to peace. Similarly, several high-level delegations have recently met between Iran and Russia due to which an important international corridor agreement has been reached. According to this agreement, Russia will be able to use Iran’s infrastructure and thus try to counter Western economic sanctions. To alleviate Iran’s displeasure, Russia has indicated that bilateral trade will increase from the current $4 billion to $40 billion, which will include exports of Iranian textile products and vehicles, while Russia will provide grain and goods to India. A transit facility will be provided for sending. The end of the ongoing war in Ukraine is not near and this is not good news for the global economy and peace. At this time, it is important that Russia and America have to stop this conflict from going further for the survival of world peace and the economy. For this, the Western powers must find a dignified and viable way of return for Russia that does not ignore Russia’s concerns about its security.
