Muslims urged to get united

LAHORE Former Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Husain Ahmed has said the independence and integrity of the country could be defended only through national unity and harmony. Addressing the concluding session of week long Fehm-e-Quran course at Mansoora on Sunday, he urged Muslims of all sects and schools of thought to end petty differences and unite on one platform to face the challenges. Qazi Husain said the forces of Kufr led by the US had invaded Islam and the Muslim. They had the agenda to wipe out Islam and the Islamic civilization and to thrust their devilish culture and sub-human way of life on the world. He said the Muslims could protect themselves by reverting to Allah and obeying the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He said the west wanted to propagate immorality in the youth and was also out to shatter the Muslim family system. In such a situation, it was the duty of the Muslim women to promote the Quranic teachings and the culture of their ancestors.
