Prime Minister Justice (r) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso has said that Pakistan and Britain have historical and traditionally close cooperative relationship in diverse fields and the same would further get strengthened in future.

He said this while talking to British High Commissioner, Adam Thomson, who called on him at the Prime Minister House Wednesday. The prime minister appreciated the assistance being extended by the British government to Pakistan especially in the field of education. Adam Thomson assured the Prime Minister of continued cooperation in the field of education and said, "We are very passionate about stepping up efforts to expand education in Pakistan and are exploring ways how to go about it". The prime minister said that over one million Pakistani Community in the United Kingdom which is a cementing force and a strong impetus to the continued relations between the two countries that have had historical and traditional ties.

Adam Thomson said that Pakistani Community in the United Kingdom outnumbers all other communities living in UK when compared in proportion to the population of these countries.
