DALLAS: A subtitling firm has apologised after naming actress Zooey Deschanel as one of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects on live TV news. The erroneous onscreen text appeared during coverage of the manhunt for the second bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. The message displayed on screen read: “...marathon bombing, he is 19-year-old Zooey Deschanel.” Zooey, star of TV comedy New Girl and a series of films, learned of the blunder over the weekend and tweeted: “Whoa! Epic closed captioning FAIL!” Caption Solutions said it and its employee “deeply regretted” the mistake which appeared on KDFW in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.–WO
