KHYBER AGENCY - The tribal martial arts player Raziullah Shinwari grabbed gold medal in 10th National Ju-Jitsu Karate competitions held in Lahore last day. The tournament was organised under the auspices of National Ju-Jitsu Karate Federation. Raziullah, from Landi Kotal, Khyber Agency, received gold medal in middle weight by defeating a player from Sindh. Raziullah said: “Despite uncertain condition being prevailed in tribal belt, Khyber Agency is very rich pertaining to this game and its players have earned a good name for the country as well as for the Fata.” He regretted that he took part in the competition on his own expenses and no one financially assisted him. He demanded KP Governor and Director Sports Fata to support them to win medals on international level.” Raziullah has been selected for Pakistan camp from Fata, for a month training in Lahore, prior to International Ju-Jitsu Tournament to be held in Azerbaijan.
