Islamabad - Motorway police should give priority to safety and security of the commuters and adopt all technical measures to control the accidents.
This was urged by Secretary Communication Shahid Ashraf Tarar on the occasion of certificate distribution ceremony of NH&MP officials as first responder course at Islamabad. He said that motorway police force is a corruption-free and prestigious national institution of the country. He said that in case of any accident, motorway police are the first responder; therefore the start of this course is a positive step towards betterment.
The secretary stressed upon motorway police to adopt all technical measures to control accidents and to give priority to the safety and security of commuters while travelling. He said that the course should be extended to the public and educational institutions so that they could also be sensitise on first-aid. In this regard, he promised all kind of cooperation to NH&MP by the ministry of communications. In the start of the ceremony, Fatiha was offered for APO Muhammad Israr khan who died last day in a road accident in Islamabad city.
