Rawalpindi - Rawalpindi Solid and Waste Management Company has decided to use modern technology to monitor employees’ attendance and fire ghost employees.

According to reports, around 150 smart phones have been purchased which will be authorised to sanitary supervisors. The process to install software in the smart phones is under way. The sanitary supervisor will be capturing the photograph of working 15 sanitary workers under his jurisdiction, while forwarding the data to control room for monitoring and verification. The Rawalpindi Solid and Waste Management Company took the important decision after public complaints.

In the first phase around 150 smart phones have been purchased which will be monitoring the attendance and locating the place where the sanitary workers are performing the duty.

MD Rawalpindi Solid and Waste Management Company Irfan Quereshi also confirmed the news.
