Three bike-lifters among 17 outlaws arrested

Oslamabad  - Islamabad police have arrested 17 outlaws including three bike-lifters from various areas of the city and recovered three stolen bikes, weapons and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said here on Friday.
According to details, Aabpara police arrested two bike-lifters Shoaib Khan and Bahram Khan and recovered 2 stolen bikes from their possession. Sihala police arrested a bike-lifter Afzal Shah and recovered one stolen bike from him. Lohi Bher police arrested two accused Arshad and Shabbir besides recovering stolen property from their possession. Industrial Area police arrested a fraudster Tasawar for impersonating an official of Excise and Taxation Office. Koral police arrested an accused Yasir Ishfaq and recovered one 30-bore pistol from him. Meanwhile, Aabpara police have registered a case against one Mahmood for sexually assaulting a minor. According to details, Muhammad Sharif, resident of sector G-6/1, submitted to Aabpara police on April 23 that the accused forcibly subjected his son, Faizan Kiany (7) to sodomy. The police have registered a case against Mahmood under section 377 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The police are yet to arrest the accused.  According to the investigation officer, the medical report of the child is yet to be received. He said that the complainant reported to the police about the incident after a delay of 4-5 days and it is unlikely that the allegations would be proved.
However, he said the police were after the accused who, reportedly, had gone to his native town in Kashmir.
