MULTAN:-Two persons lost their lives on Tuesday in Nishtar Hospital after suffering in Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic fever, commonly referred to as Congo fever. The victims include Waziristan’s 40-year-old Zara Sanaullah and Dera Ghazi Khan’s 50-year-old Abdul Qayyum. They were kept in the isolation ward of Nishtar hospital for treatment where they died. Their blood samples were sent to Islamabad’s health laboratory for test. The health department has begun work to protect the citizens from Congo virus.
