SIALKOT - Police have registered a case against accused Jawad Shabir for desecration of Holy Quran by burning the copy of Holy Quran near a local mosque in village Ranjhai, Daska tehsil. According to police officials, the Daska Saddr Police have registered a case (No.227/2018) under section 295-B against the accused on the report of Abid Hussain, a cleric /prayer leader of the mosque. Police have arrested the accused and produced him before a local magisterial court, amid tight security. An accused Rashid forcibly raped a married woman at her house in village Kot Jandu-Bambaanwala, Daska tehsil. Accused fled away. Bambaanwala police have registered a case with no arrest.
