ECP summons meeting tomorrow

ISLAMABAD - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has summoned a key meeting on Tuesday (tomorrow) to review allegations being levelled by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan regarding vote fraud in May 11, 2013 general elections.
The meeting would be headed by acting chief election commissioner Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali in which ECP secretary and all four members would also be present.
Meanwhile, former secretary election commission Kanwar Dilshad said all returning officers (ROs) were not involved in the rigging, adding that only those ROs should be summoned who rigged last general elections. He said that controversial ROs should be singled out.
“Under which law the then Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry addressed to ROs?” he asked. Dilshad further suggested that all those printers who printed extra ballot papers should also be grilled.
