Iggy Azalea has tumbled off the stage during an MTV Video Music Awards benefit concert. It is not known if the Australian rapper was injured.

She fell off the stage while performing her hit Fancy at The Avalon in Los Angeles last night. Security guards quickly pulled her back on to the stage, and she barely missed a beat as Charli XCX joined her for the chart-topping single.

Afterwards she told the crowd she felt ‘very blessed’ that she did not break her legs. She appeared unharmed and in good spirits, even posting a video of the fall on Instagram. She wrote in the caption: ‘I know I laughed.’ Tori Kelly and Sam Smith also performed at the event benefiting Lifebeat - Music Fights HIV/Aids. Iggy is up for seven awards at the VMAs. Rocky, who has had a 15-year run in the showbiz industry, has never had any such incident before but for some reason, during the Anaconda rehearsal, he suddenly bit the inner part of the dancers left arm. Perhaps Rocky was showing his distaste for the song or just trying to tell them that maybe Anaconda isn’t the one to go with for this year’s VMAs.

Whatever the reason, Minaj was said to have immediately rush to the dancer’s side to see if she was OK. Boa Constrictors are not venomous snakes and a medic on hand at the scene quickly tended to the dancer. Not throwing caution to the wind however, the dancer was taken to hospital to doubly make sure she was alright.

The snake biting incident has put Rocky out of the show and the snappy boa will be replaced by either another one or with a python. Nicki Minaj’s dancer is not the only accident to happen the day before the VMAs; Iggy Azalea had fallen off stage during a pre-show.

Iggy and rapper friend, Charli XCX were performing Fancy Friday night in Los Angeles at The Avalon when Azalea backed right off the stage.

Watching the video, it does look like the Australian rapper could have severely hurt herself. Luckily as quickly as she went down, Azalea got right back up as security helped her back on stage. The Black Widow singer even posted a video clip of it on Instagram saying that she just had to share the laugh with everyone. Iggy also said that the fact that she did not break her legs makes her feel ‘very blessed’ and typed the caption, ‘I know I laughed.’
