In the wake of unconstitutional demands by some political and non-political leaders in Islamabad, the Government is showing restraint for the safety of the masses. This is commendable, however it is important that the entire political leadership of the country should correctly gauge the severity of the condition and wisely direct their followers. The leaders, who brought thousands on the roads, should think it to be their prime responsibility to protect and ensure the safety for their followers. They should not push them to the point where police action against them becomes necessary. The protesting political parties should not risk their followers’ lives for political and individualistic stances.
