Water level rises in Rawal Dam


Rawalpindi- Water level has reached to its highest point 1752 feet in Rawal Dam due to the present rain spells.
Sources told that this water can fulfill Rawalpindi’s needs for 10 months while water supply is continuing from 363 tube wells as well.
WASA sources told that Rawal Dam supplies 24 million gallons of water every day, 12 million gallon to city and 12 million gallon to MES in Cantonment. There is no shortage of water however due to the load shedding in several areas tube wells have become nonfunctional.
