ISLAMABAD – Abiha helped Islamabad win Jashan-e-Azadi Women Football Tournament after stunning Young Rising Star (YRS) Women FC 2-0 in the last league match played here Monday. Former Islamabad Football Association (IFA) president Syed Sharafat Hussain Bukhari was the chief guest and distributed trophies among the winners and runner-up. Four teams of twin cities including Islamabad, YRS Rawalpindi, National School Islamabad and YRS Youth Rawalpindi took part in the event, which was played on league system. In the final match, Islamabad prevailed and beat mighty YRS Rawalpindi 2-0 goal. Abiha opened the scoring in the 10th minute of the first half which provided Islamabad 1-0 lead in the first half. Abiha scored second goal in the 70th minute to ensure title for Islamabad.
