Pak-China relations to bolster economic cooperation

LAHORE (APP): Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif Monday said that China’s enhanced cooperation would help Pakistan to strengthen energy, transport and infrastructure sectors.
He expressed these views while talking to media prior to leave for a visit to China.
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif observed that Pakistan’s relations with China were touching new heights as China had always stood with Pakistan in testing times.
He said, China-Pakistan Economic Corridor(C-PEC) project would not only benefit Pakistan but also the entire region.
The Chief Minister would schedule to meet high ups in Chinese government to discuss some projects including energy, infrastructure and transports sectors to be set up in Punjab under C-PEC for further strengthening cooperation. Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Advisor Health Khawaja Salman Rafique, Chairman LTC, Khawaja Ahmed Hassan, and other officials were part of chief minister’s entourage.
