LAHORE - The Punjab government has constituted a committee for reducing plots prices of Journalist Housing Foundation Lahore and for allotting plots to new members in proposed F-Block. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif's media advisor Parvez Rashid will head the committee, which will prepare its recommendations and report to the CM within a week. Representatives of Information and Finance departments, Board of Revenue and LDA have been included as members of the committee. It is pertinent to mention here that the previous Punjab government had fixed Rs350, 000 price for a plot. Shahbaz Sharif has decided to give relaxation to journalists in paying plots prices and for developing a road map in this connection, has constituted a committee. The committee will review plots prices and will send recommendations to the CM. The sources said that the committee would present its recommendations to the CM for awarding plots to new members.
