ISLAMABAD (APP) - President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani have urged the nation to follow in the footsteps of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali and forge unity to cope with the challenges confronting the country.
“Let us pledge that we will not allow any change through force and intimidation and respect the power of ballot as the instrument of change,” the president said in a message on the 135th birth anniversary of the Quaid-i-Azam.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said, “My message to the people of Pakistan is that we must forge unity. If we imbibe the Quaid’s message of unity, faith and disciple, there is no challenge too insurmountable to be overcome and no one would dare cast an evil eye on the country’s sovereignty.
