Rawalpindi - The enforcement wing of Rawalpindi Development Authority along with police carried out an operation against illegal constructions and demolished an illegally constructed building in Gulraiz Colony, informed RDA spokesman on Wednesday.
According to him, under the directions of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division/ Director General (DG) RDA, Capt (Retd) Zahid Saeed, the enforcement wing of RDA was continuously conducting operations against illegal constructions and encroachments in the city. The RDA’s enforcement team along with the assistance of police conducted an operation against illegal construction in the area of Gulraiz Housing Society, Kotha Kalan, and demolished an illegally constructed building.
He informed that the owner of the building was constructing a residential building in violation of RDA building and zoning regulations. The operation was carried out by the RDA’s enforcement team in the supervision of RDA’s enforcement In-charge Rana Tariq Javed, he added. The DG RDA has directed enforcement wing to take strict action against illegal constructions and encroachments without any fear and influence.
