ISLAMABAD - Eighth National Tenpin Bowling Championship 2014 will commence today (Thursday) at Leisure City Bowling Club. The championship is being organised by Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation in collaboration with Capital Development Authority. PTBF and WTBA/ABF playing rules and regulations would apply in this ranking tournament carrying Rs 500,000 prize money. Handsome cash prize of Rs 50,000 for singles winner and gold medal, runners up Rs 25,000 and silver medal, while bronze medal and Rs 15,000 for third position holder would be awarded. Doubles winner would earn Rs 30,000 cash and gold medal, runners up Rs 20,000 cash and silver medal and third position holder bronze medal with no cash award. Team event winner will earn Rs 30,000 cash and gold medal; runner up Rs 15,000 and silver medal and third position only bronze medal. Amateur winner will pocket Rs 10,000 cash and gold medal, runners up Rs 5,000 cash and silver medal and third position Rs 3000 and bronze medal. Girls winner will get Rs 10,000 cash and gold medal, runners up Rs 5000 and silver medal and third position holder Rs 3000 and bronze medal.
