ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Disabled Sports Association (PDSA) to hold memorial reference next week to pay homage to late patron-in-chief Munawar Mughal, who breathed his last on 20th of this month. Munawar had suffered heart attack and before any medical attention, he breathed his last.

PDSA secretary Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry said they were still in shock with sudden death of Munawar and all their plans regarding uplift of disabled sports suffered body blow as it was Munawar who was planning to generate funds and provided jobs to disabled sports persons.

Nasir said they would also organise a memorial cricket match to pay homage to the diseased soul. “We would continue his mission and try to follow his footsteps. I know it would not be an easy task. I consider all the disabled players have lost a sincere father like figure and we will continue the mission of Munawar unabated.”

Meanwhile a condolence meeting of PDSA officials was held at PDSA office which was attended by M Asfaq Chahtha, Malik Naveed, Saeed Ahmed Bhatti, Akhunzada Faheem, Siraj-ul-Hasan, Babar Chaudhry, Nisar Mirza among others were present fateha was offered for the departed soul. –Staff Reporter
