QUETTA - At least two people were killed and over 36 wounded in a powerful bomb blast here on Wednesday.

According to officials, the blast occurred outside a restaurant at Prince Road and was too powerful that it damaged several nearby shops, and fire also erupted in nearby buildings.

Officials said that the bomb was planted in a vehicle parked outside the restaurant.   

Rescue teams and security forces rushed to the scene and shifted the wounded and dead bodies to civil hospital.

Fire-fighter vehicles also reached the site and managed to extinguish fire after some hours.
