Pakistan on Thursday suggested India to resolve peacefully the longstanding dispute of Jammu and Kashmir between the two countries, reiterating its desire of having better ties with its neighbor, report said. Resolution of all outstanding disputes is vital for bringing lasting peace in the region and thats why Pakistan has offered India to sit and resolve all bilateral disputes including Kashmir in a peaceful manner, foreign secretary Salman Bashir told a news conference in New Delhi here after meeting his Indian counterpart. India and Pakistan held wide-ranging discussions today about terrorism, Kashmir and other disputes in the first talks between the rival nations since the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
