QUETTA - A couple died of suffocation in the provincial capital on Friday. According to police, Ahmed Ali and his wife Hanifa Bibi, residents of Hazara town, fell asleep without switching off gas heater. Next morning, they were found unconscious and brought to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, where doctors proclaimed them dead. Earlier in the month, a couple in the same town was suffocated to death. Around 32 people have been killed so far in Quetta, Mastung and Ziarat despite repeated warnings by SSGC to switch off heaters before going to bed.
