There appears to be a jam between NAB and Prime Minister of Pakistan with latter saying that NAB may remain within limits and NAB saying that they are inquiring two cases.
However this is a wholly unsatisfactory situation which needs resolution. We can go back to pristine values of Islam practiced in the days of Khulfai-i-Rashideen (R.A) when in days of Hazrat Umer-i-Farooq (R.A.) a Governor of a province was dismissed on reputation of not attending to his duties although being a pious man. Similarly an eminent General like Hazrat Khalid-bin-Waleed (R.A) was made to retire over a case of frivolously spending his own money on a poet which was not considered appropriate.
The simple living standard of Amir-ul-Momineen so much impressed a Persian ambassador that he shuddered from fright on seeing the caliph of muslims sleeping soundly under a tree on bare ground although being ruler of half the world. Our P.M. cant claim the immunity from investigation given his fabulous wealth. He cannot claim under the board treatment from NAB created by himself to deal with corruption cases of all concerned. As such unless we return to pristine values of Islam we cannot achieve a balance in our condition.
